How to Access The Akashic Records or Contact Your Spirit Guides

What most people have to realize is that the “akashic records” isn’t a place… it actually isn’t any “THING” at all. It’s not a “place” which you “go to”. It’s more akin to a huge database which collects and records data. Consider it a record of everything that HAS happened and everything that COULD HAVE happened… along with a potential for anything that COULD happen in the future. But mostly the first two things, because those are the more concrete things which can be recorded.

First off, remember… everything is consciousness… and that means YOU ARE PART OF CONSCIOUSNESS TOO! As such, this means that you always, at anytime, have direct access (although it might not seem that way at times) to it. All you need to do is learn to listen to it.

Through our non-physical experiences (what humans subjectively call a “dream”, “lucid dream” or “astral projection”, or any of the various other labels we use -> because, meh, they’re all the same thing anyway) we have more direct access to this information. While we’re experiencing this physical reality, we DO have direct access to it as well, but it’s only accessible through the same filters which our consciousness currently experiences this physical reality through. Meaning, you have to put up with all the interpretations and snap judgments your consciousness makes on a secondly basis. So, how do you go about to do this?

FIRST, you meditate… focus your mind. Unless, that is, you’re a person who is always in a focused state of mind… then you can kind of just shift your attention towards that focus.
But let’s face it, most people are absent minded these days. So, meditate… focus your mind for a few minutes… push away as much physical-ness from your awareness as you can. THEN, ask your question. Say it out loud… think it… do whatever you want… just make sure the Intent behind your question is strong and with a powerful purpose. THEN, sit back and wait for an answer.

This is the most important part of this process… your answer will most likely *NOT* be something verbal. Don’t get me wrong, it COULD come to you in a neatly verbal reply which you “hear”, but it probably won’t. As such, you need to listen intently to your body. The answer could come as a change in temperature… a breeze… it could be in the form of a memory popping into your mind… the point here being, remain COMPLETELY OPEN to *HOW* the answer comes to you. Don’t judge it, don’t analyze it, just accept it into yourself, however it comes.

That’s how you access this stuff while “physical”. This can be used to do more than just gaining access to the Akashic Records, or contacting your Spirit Guides… you can do anything you want with this really. Speak with your Higher Self, talk to other people’s Higher Selves… contact animal guides… your subconscious… anything. Keep in mind though, that all of those things are, pretty much, the same thing anyway.

Enjoy!

Best Method For Astral Projection: Paths to Spiritual Growth

There is a single, sure-fire way to be a successful Projector: Spiritual Growth.

Spiritual growth has many other terms describing it… increasing the quality of your consciousness, becoming a better person, spiritual evolution, lowering your entropy, etc. If you want to be sure to succeed with Projection, then you’re going to want to aim at becoming a better person. This has the rather effective side effect of making all of those other psychic and metaphysical activities occur naturally!

So how does one grow spiritually? That’s the big question…
You’ll hear lots of stories from many people about what you NEED or MUST do, but the jist is usually that they tell you that you need to meditate everyday in order to grow spiritually. Well, I’m here to tell you that there’s absolutely NOTHING special you need to do in order to increase the quality of your consciousness.

It’s really simple: spiritual growth happens through your interactions with other consciousnesses in this reality. There’s nothing else to it.
What I mean is that you need to interact with other consciousnesses (people, animals, etc…) in a Loving and Caring way. It means to be NICE to everyone and everything regardless of who they are. This SOUNDS easy, but then think about someone who really grinds your gears… now, be nice to that person.

Now, the misunderstanding with spirituality is that you must be nice to everyone ALL OF THE TIME. This isn’t the case. Being spiritual doesn’t mean you allow people to step all over you… or you allow people to treat you poorly. Being spiritual means treating yourself with love and respect as much as anyone else, and you wouldn’t allow anyone else to be treated that way, so you shouldn’t to yourself either.

What you’ll quickly find, as I did, is that doing this on a constant basis really changes your perception of life. This has the secondary effect of bringing beneficial things to you in order to help you further grow! This includes metaphysical things like seeing auras and Projection! As you begin to lower your entropy, you’ll begin to notice these things naturally occurring to you!

Let’s talk now about the paths you can take to spiritually evolve.
There are, essentially, two paths to growth. You can grow through Love, or you can grow through Fear. A good analogy for these two paths is the Force!

We’ll start with the dark side (Fear-based growth). The dark side is limited in their growth potential, they can only become “so powerful”. An individual who spiritually evolves by Fear, uses control over others and control over themselves in order to evolve… they control themselves by controlling their emotional reactions to other people, this makes them “look” nice, but they’re really not. They’re only acting. These people are quite easy to identify, because they have issues with other people and the beliefs they hold. They usually think that their beliefs are the only true way to do anything and everyone else is wrong. They also attack those they disagree with. The problem with people who increase the quality of their consciousness with Fear is that to the less spiritually initiated individual, they look very powerful and very strong. It’s easy to get caught up in these kinds of individuals. If you can identify the Fear-base individual, you can put yourself in to a good position by staying away from them. They’re only interested in themselves and not really interested in helping you or anyone else.

Now, let’s talk about the light side (Love-based growth). The light side is almost unlimited in their growth potential, they can become “extremely powerful”. An individual who spiritually evolves by Love, guides others with a caring hand and helps them to lower their entropy as well. These people are easy to identify as well, because they allow everyone to be as they are. They understand that everyone has their own opinions, their own experiences and their own beliefs. They accept this and don’t try to force their opinions upon others. These are the individuals you want to befriend, as they truly have your best interests at heart.

Here is an example to illustrate my point…
You’re walking down the street behind someone who accidentally drops their wallet, but doesn’t realize it! You quickly pick up the wallet. While picking it up, you notice someone sees you do it. Your thoughts are now that you better give the wallet back or that individual will think poorly of you or might notify the actual owner of the wallet. So you return the wallet out of fear that they’re going to think poorly of you. This is a fear-based choice. This is someone who grows from the dark side. They did the right thing, but they did it entirely for the wrong reasons, yet they still LOOK like they’re good.
In comparison, the Love-based individual would pick up the wallet and, without giving it a second thought, flag the individual down and give them their wallet back. They didn’t think about it, they just did it, because it was the right thing to do.

These are the paths to spiritual growth. Through them, you’ll quickly notice that all metaphysical doors, including Projection, slowly begin to open to you. These occurrences will begin to be a natural part of your life.

What does grounding your body mean in Astral Projection?

One of the nice things about running your own website is that you can see what searches people are using to find your articles with. Someone wanted to know, “what does grounding your body mean in astral projection” (if you recognize this search, please feel free to comment. :))… which is a really valid question, not to mention a good one, since it’s loaded with a lot of preconceived beliefs which I feel are really not really required. So being able to free people from this kind of thinking is great for actually getting to the non-physical and personally experiencing it.

“What does grounding your body mean in astral projection”
What grounding yourself means is the same on the physical level as it is on any non-physical level, this is because it’s not a physical act… it’s an act of consciousness. Grounding yourself goes hand in hand with Centering yourself. It means to remain calm and emotionally balanced at all times. This ties into the phrase “raise your vibrations”… the more focused, ground and centered you can remain, the “higher” your vibrations are. Yup, there’s nothing mystical or magical about “raising your vibrations”. In fact, it’s an act you do on a daily basis and don’t even realize it BECAUSE you probably think it’s some mystical or magical thing.

If actions such as “grounding” are a non-physical thing, then the natural extension of them is that if you can keep yourself ground and centered while projecting, you can not only strengthen your experience, you can extend it too! This is because you can remain calm and notice the ‘signs’ of when you’re about to wake up… and immediately be able to do a technique to remain projecting.

There are more benefits to being grounded and centered… not just in your projection life, but in your waking physical life as well. 🙂

Everything is Consciousness: Analyzing Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection From the Perspective of Consciousness

Are Lucid Dreams the same as OBEs? – IAC

I wanted to share this article, not because I think it’s correct… but because I wanted to point something out that really frustrates me.

Everyone always looks at this question from the tired old perspective that there is this distinction and heavily drawn line between what happens while we’re awake and what happens while we’re asleep. There’s this very narrowly defined box that people have put this question into regarding the very nature of reality. One of the more accepted concepts and ideas floating around the new age community is that all is “one”. Everything is consciousness.

This is a great concept and I fully agree with it… many other people seem to agree with it as well, but then for some reason it simply ends at agreeing with it and nobody seems to want to go much further with it. Or they’re simply not capable or able to take it much further for one reason or another.

EVERYTHING IS CONSCIOUSNESS. It’s a statement that you can repeat to yourself a million times over and you’ll never really begin to understand it until you apply it to every experience your consciousness has had in regards to the very nature of reality and the nature of those experiences. Or more to the point, the nature of consciousness.

EVERYTHING IS CONSCIOUSNESS. What far reaching implications can that statement have upon the idea of what a dream is? … what a lucid dream is? … what an astral projection is? … even what this physical reality is? What kind of implications come from the concept that everything you take into yourself with your 5+ senses regardless of the reality you find yourself experiencing is one in the same thing: consciousness. If EVERYTHING IS CONSCIOUSNESS, why does this seem to stop people at this imaginary line drawn in the sand where one side says “physical” and the other side says “everything else”? Why do we simply refuse to ask the questions that are so begging to be asked?

If EVERYTHING IS CONSCIOUSNESS then how can there be any dividing lines in consciousness? Why do we keep insisting that this concept of everything is one is the correct and then completely ignore the implications of such an idea? Can’t there only be you, the awareness, experiencing? Dream… Lucid Dream… Astral Projection… Physical… all of these things have one common denominator: YOU, or more to the point your awareness/consciousness.

I guess what I’m getting at is that it would be really amazing to see the new age community stop for a second and start to consider the implications of what they teach and start to actually apply those concepts to the experiences we have as conscious beings. I mean, I’ve only started to do begin to analyze my experiences from this perspective and I’ve already opened so many doors to myself. Not just thinking there was more out there than I could see, but KNOWING there was more out there and that most people hadn’t even scratched the surface yet… hell, most people haven’t even begun to ask the important questions.

Why am I Not Enlightened Yet? – Rupert Spira

Bob Hiller (on facebook) posted a really great video from a guy named Rupert Spira. I’ve never heard of this guy until now, but I think I’m definitely going to be giving his videos a good listen to! This one is entitled “Why am I Not Enlightened Yet?”. A woman asked him this question, and the response is just absolutely fantastic and enlightening in itself. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. 🙂

Spirituality – Choices of Love or Fear

I posted this on the Astral Pulse just now and I wanted to share it here too.

I always try to remind myself that two choices exist (probably many more, but you’ll figure them out on your own)… Fear or Love.

The Fear choice takes you back down the mountain… it’s giving in to all the negativity surrounding everything in this world.
The Love choice takes you up further up the mountain to the next teetering precipice (yes, there are many of them up the mountain LoL)… it’s simply allowing the world to be as it is.

There’s a lot of fear in the world today, we saw it boil over a couple weeks ago in Boston. The fear will always be there.

It’s all meaningless anyway… although, that

‘s not to say that it’s not important. The smallest act such as stepping on an ant is very important to the world, as the world has lost something… however small that loss is, it’s now gone forever. Through focusing on Love, we can help retain the best that the world has and allow it to continue to grow, while we also create a world that is less fertile for Fear grow. I try not to worry about that which I have very little, or no control over. I have very little to no control over the actions of others who have given in to Fear…

Choose Love over Fear… never give in to the negativity in the world.

Giving into Fear is allowing your ship to fill with water and sink.

Is Astral Projection a Spiritual Practice?

The simple answer to this question is no, Astral Projection is not a spiritual practice in itself. I have no doubt that some people will be surprised to hear that and others will be nodding in agreement. Please allow me to explain.

This is, in fact, the wrong question. The question should be, \”CAN Astral Projection be a spiritual practice?\”. The answer to that is a resounding YES. Of course it can be, but you need to make the conscious choice to make it so.

It starts with asking yourself why do you want to learn Astral Projection, or if the case is that you already know how, then simply ask why do you Project? It begins with the Intent behind the \”why\”. If all you\’re looking for is the thrill of something new, or perhaps you want to just fly around, or maybe you\’re wanting to spy on people… well, the Intent associated with these actions isn\’t of Love. Some of it is self-serving. Some of it is just outright negative. I\’m not saying don\’t spy, don\’t fly and don\’t find a thrill… I\’m just saying that if you\’re looking to grow spiritually, then those things should probably be kept in balance with your other activities. I\’m a big fan of flying… and a lot of the time I get caught up in doing just that. So I understand that sometimes it\’s not easy to keep your mind on track.

Now remember that you can grow spiritually much faster simply by interacting with others in this physical reality. Don\’t hide from other people, they\’re your path to spiritual growth! That is the entire reason why you chose to be here in the first place! To fast track yourself towards becoming a being of Love. If you can stick to that path in the current social atmosphere of greed that surrounds us on a daily basis, then I think you\’re doing pretty good. The nice thing about becoming Love here physically is that it translates over into your Projections. You will find that your Projections take on a much more positive atmosphere to them and you will meet with more positive entities, because you\’ve now shifted your Intent towards a more positive position, hence you will begin to experience such directly. This concept also applies to our physical lives. The more you change within to become closer to Love, the more positive effects you\’ll see happen in your life.

You can definitely also learn to become a more Loving being through Astral Projection. This is where Astral Projection as a spiritual tool comes into play. Just as you grow spiritually here in the physical, through your interactions with other Consciousnesses, the same holds true while you\’re projecting as well. Be kind to all those you meet, because you never know if an entity you\’re interacting with is a creation of your consciousness or a truly separate being from you. So just be nice to everyone.

That lesson also holds true here in this physical reality, except you know that everyone is separate (well, that\’s the illusion anyway) from you. You don\’t know the life stories of other people you meet here physically, so treat everyone with respect. This is the first lesson, in my opinion, of becoming Love. Respecting everyone. It has just as many implications physically as it does during our Projections.

So, as you can see, Astral Projection is only a Spiritual Practice if you choose to make it such. Likewise, even your physical life requires a choice to be made as to whether it\’s a spiritual life or not.

Spirituality – Why I Can’t Get Mad At People

A few years back, I was driving home from somewhere when, all of a sudden, I got cut off while passing through an intersection. I was just about ready to let loose with a few curse words and just generally boiling mad, when I realized something. I’ve done this same thing to other people by accident… I have no idea what the other person was thinking or doing when they cut me off. At that point, I realized that I simply can’t get mad at someone for doing something that I, too, have done in the past. How can I? Wouldn’t that be hypocritical of me?

This is why I (mostly lol) don’t get mad or angry at people anymore for doing something that I would have once called them “stupid” or “an idiot” for, because at one point or another I was probably doing the exact same thing.

So what do I do instead? I take the advice of a wonderful Spiritual Teacher named Adyashanti. If you’ve read my posts lately, you’ve definitely heard or seen him.
The advice is to simply allow everything to be as it is. In this instance, it means to simply accept that what’s done is done. Regardless of the intent of the individual who cuts you off, it’s done, just accept it and move on. No amount of you getting angry is going to change what happened, nor is you getting angry going to make the other driver not do it again.

Eventually, you’ll actually be able to observe the biological processes happening AS they happen. I had an instance, and Adya recalls something similar in one of his videos, where I had something like this happen to me again, except someone almost drove into my car, and as it was happening I was able to observe what was occurring in my body. The biological events that were occurring within me, but since I wasn’t reacting to them, they kind of surged for a minute, then dissipated slowly.

It’s all about recognizing patterns in your life and then allowing them to be as they are. You can apply this to ANYTHING. Everything from the people around you to the simple daily activities we do. Whenever you pin point something as a trigger for you to get angry, ask yourself why you’re getting angry, then try to just accept it. This allows you to let go of the anger.

Something else I realized is that being a Spiritual person doesn’t mean you don’t get angry, frustrated, upset, etc…
It means you don’t hold onto the anger, the frustration, etc… you’re able to experience it, then immediately let it go. Quite often I’ll get frustrated at something where I’ll seemingly get really upset, then the next second I’m happy as ever again. It’s not that I’m bi-polar, although sometimes it could really seem that way (LoL), but it’s because I’m able to let go of things that upset me.

Anyway, back to the point of this article… if something someone does gets you angry, try to look back into your past actions and see if you’ve done the same thing before. You can hardly get angry at someone for doing something that you, yourself have done at some point. Instead of allowing your emotions to control you in this situation, why not tell the individual about what happened to you when YOU made the same mistake. That way, two people can learn from one persons mistake! Isn’t that a much better use of your energy instead of getting mad and calling someone stupid?

This kind of action moves you closer to becoming Love, which is, in my opinion, the goal of experiencing this physical reality in the first place. You’ll also find that as you become closer to Love, that things like Meditation and Astral Projection come, not only easier, but happen more often and spontaneously as well!

Are Astral Projections \”Internal\” or \”External\” Experiences?

So, which is it? When we \”project\” our consciousness away from this physical reality, are we projecting to something internal to ourselves or external to ourselves?

I\’ll answer this from my own experience. Basically, since all is consciousness, there is no \”physical body\”. There never was, it\’s all virtual. So there\’s nothing to \”separate\” from. And since there\’s no physical body, there\’s nothing \”internal\” with which you project into. You ARE consciousness, so it\’s not so much that you have to get out of your body in order to project… it\’s that you need to focus away from what you\’re experiencing (this physical) and open yourself to something that isn\’t this physical. It\’s like a wave, individual among the body of water it is born from. Each of us are a wave OF (not in) the ocean. A wave can\’t separate from the ocean, anymore than you can separate from this body of consciousness that we\’re all apart of.

So projection isn\’t something internal to you… and it\’s not external to you either. Why? …because you ARE it. You are the ocean. You are everything. Projection is you experiencing yourself (consciousness) from a slightly different perspective. You\’re shifting your perception away from experiencing yourself as one thing, towards experiencing yourself as something else.

Does that make any sense or have I confused the matter more?

What is “Intent”

People ask me, “How do I project?”.

Well, it’s 95% Intent… 5% Technique.

So, what is Intent and how do you use it to project?

This is the best way I can think of to describe Intent:
Intent is the difference between intending to move your hand, and actually moving your hand. You can intend to move your hand as much as you want. Sit there, look at your hand and just “think” about moving it. It won’t do anything, right? It won’t do anything UNTIL you actually MOVE your hand. That act of actually moving your hand is you placing the Intent to do so. So, Intent is the “action” which occurs a fraction before you do something.

If you can figure out how to harness this power, the power of Intent, then you can Project very easily. In terms of Projection (phasing in particular), it’s all about ALLOWING your consciousness to shift to the non-physical. It’s extremely hard to describe it beyond that, but once you figure it out, you’ll see just how easy all this stuff really is. At that point, the hardest thing you’ll then need to worry about is STAYING in the non-physical. For that, there are other techniques… which, ironically, also involve entirely around using your Intent! 🙂

Have a great holiday everyone!

My Life… My Lesson…

Ever since I was a young teenager, I could never shake this notion that for some reason I probably wasn\’t going to make it out of my 30\’s. I didn\’t know where this information came from or why it was coming to me. Now, after 20 years of having this idea floating around in my mind, I finally realize where it was coming from and what means.

First I thought it was about dying. For one reason or another I thought I wouldn\’t make it through my 30\’s to see my 40\’s. However, now that I look back on everything I\’ve experienced over the last couple years… I look back on the transformations that have occurred in my life, I realize exactly what this \”feeling\” was all about. It wasn\’t about me dying… nothing could have been further from the truth. Just like the \”Death\” card in a Tarot deck symbolizes \”change\”, so too did this lifelong feeling I had. It was a note to myself that my 30\’s was when I\’d be changing, when I\’d be transforming. Forever changing how I not only viewed reality, but how reality viewed me.

My view on this world is so much different than it was a few years ago. I see a lot more of the good in the world. I\’ve changed in ways I can\’t even articulate, yet I know that it\’s a fundamental shift in what \”I am\”.

I think I\’ve finally learned that I really know nothing at all. LoL

Love

Tom Campbell speaks about this reality potentially being a school-room of sorts… he jokes about how we should probably view it as being akin to a kindergarten classroom instead of some kind of place of higher learning. All jokes aside, I\’m wondering how close to the truth this is.

And more to the point… I\’m thinking it\’s not only supposed be this way, I\’m wondering if it\’s supposed to STAY this way.

I sit here wondering what it would be like to live a physical life in a reality which is more spiritually aware, where the consciousnesses which inhabit it know of their true origins, and I\’m forced to wonder just how \”productive\” such a reality would be to live in, in terms of increasing the quality of your consciousness. Learning by first hand experience is probably the best way to \”grow\”… which would make this physical reality *THE* best place to learn about how to move towards Love.

The discussions we have here (in the MBT facebook group and Tom\’s forum) regarding MBT and who\’s right and who\’s wrong… they\’re ultimately 100% meaningless. They\’re designed to assist us in guiding us towards the ultimate truth: Love. I think I\’ve finally found the truth to Tom\’s message, and I don\’t think it has anything to do with the content of his TOE.

My Realization

So I\’ve come to a rather perplexing conclusion about my Projection practices over the past several months.

I\’ve been listening a lot to spiritual teachers such as Adyashanti, and even the less \”spiritually-inclined\” such as Tom Campbell lately… and this is what triggered this particular realization. I feel I\’ve had some significant transformations over just these last couple weeks that lead me in this direction.

I\’ve found that the more I\’ve been delving into my spiritual side… the more I\’ve been growing… an the less active I am in actively practicing astral projection.

For example, I really doesn\’t bother me if I project anymore, it\’s simply phased out as a desire within myself. I tried practicing this morning because I had the day off work, and I found myself not really caring if I projected or not. Not because I was lazy or anything, but because I genuinely had no \”want\”… that\’s not to say I don\’t project anymore, I have enough spontaneous projections that happen to me now, they almost seem to be happening on their own accord now and with greater frequency too.

Is anyone else finding this? As you experience the non-physical more and more, your attention is drawn more and more to the physical? Everyone goes through a cycle from time to time where they lose interest in projection and then one day pick it up again… this isn\’t it. I\’m well versed in that particular cycle, as I\’ve gone through it many times prior. This is more a fundamental shift in being *me… or more appropriately, it\’s a fundamental shift in my *being*.

That\’s not to say I\’m not going to continue sharing my thoughts and ideas here on my website or anything crazy like that… hehe Although, I think my posting might \”open up\” a bit to take on more of a spiritual turn and I guess I\’ll finally able to fully utilize my website name: Unlimited Boundaries. I knew I chose it for a reason… because it was quite limiting only talking about Astral Projection. LOL

Consciousness Experiences – My Simple Truth

This isn\’t going to be a long post…
It\’s a really simple truth. I just wish more people would open their eyes and realize it.

I know this is going to sound like me beating a dead horse, but… here is my truth: There is no physical and there is no non-physical. There\’s just consciousness having experiences from different perspectives.

Once you stop trying to separate physical from non-physical and begin to look at things *TOGETHER*, all the answers regarding your experiences become obvious… they become so clear. Everything becomes so… completely… clear!

The Feeling of \”Mind Expansion\”

I take the train to and from work now. It\’s a wonderful little bit of my day that I\’m learning to really enjoy. Why you ask? Cause it gives me 35 minutes twice a day to meditate! If I can\’t meditate at work, this is the next best thing. 🙂

Anyway, onto my post…
I was meditating on the way home from work tonight and a thought popped into my head regarding the feeling that I get I call \”Mind Expansion\”. It actually feels like your mind is really expanding. But I came to realize what that sensation really is, because I noticed it tonight at the same time this \”other\” thing occurred.

What occurred was a 90%+ reduction in my five physical senses. Well, I was ignoring them. But at that exact moment, I began to feel that \”Mind Expansion\” sensation happen. I never really consciously put two and two together about this.

The \”Mind Expansion\” sensation is also the beginning of removing yourself from this physical reality. Point Consciousness. From there, all of consciousness is your playground. 🙂

Being lead to where I need to be…

I was just thinking about everything that\’s been happening to me as of the last couple years… and thinking about what I\’ve been experiencing and how I came about the realization to have those experiences, and I feel like MBT is the culmination of this \”being lead around\”.

It\’s not a culmination as in \”I\’m now at the top of the mountain\”, because that would be silly … that would be assuming that there\’s no more to climb after this. It\’s more like being at the top of the mountain, and then realizing that you have to climb back down so that you can climb another mountain again… an endless number of mountains.

I started off my journey on a forum called SpiritOnline, then it went down… and I found myself over on another forum called the Astral Society… then that went down… after which I found myself over on the Astral Pulse. Throughout all this I struggled over 10+ years to learn how to do Astral Projection, to experience the non-physical for myself. Not knowing that over the course of all that, I was slowly setting up my foundation through learning to meditate. Well, when I stumbled upon the Astral Pulse I found a dude there named Frank Kepple… I read and followed him in his experiments with trying to follow in the foot steps of Robert Monroe and he felt he was rather successful in doing so. His data was really my launchpad for my current situation of exploring the non-physical, so for that I\’m grateful.

I still post there, and am a moderator there actually. Through posting there, I\’ve now stumbled across my next challenge, the next mountain for me to climb… \”My Big TOE\” (MBT), by Thomas Campbell. As I\’m reading MBT, I\’m realizing just how much my own experiences relate to the larger reality that\’s out there, and the reality that I find myself currently in, and I feel like I\’m able to partake in it more. I\’m learning more about myself, I\’m learning how to control my emotions and my thoughts… making myself a better person, which is then reflected in the world around me. I\’m able to see the GOOD in the world now, where before it was only \”wow wtf is wrong with you!\” kind of thing… just seeing the bad. I\’ve made choices lately that have me reacting to situations in a more positive manner… although I\’m still learning and still have a long way to go, as I\’ve been prone to anger and being upset as well lately too.

But throughout this journey that I unknowingly set myself on the last couple years… as I reflect back on it, I see the trail of bread crumbs that, as Tom might put it, the system has left for me to grab in an effort to lower my entropy and bring myself into a greater state of consciousness. A more serene place… and I now starting to appreciate that, really, more than words could convey. 🙂

I guess I don\’t really have a point in posting this… except to just get that out there. )

Question regarding Birth Choice and Birth Defects

I had an interesting thought the other day as I was thinking about how we come into this world and how we choose certain aspects of this life.  I fully believe that we work out a \’basic\’ path for ourselves, but whether that path gets fulfilled or not is entirely upon our life choices WHILE we\’re here.

But then I got to thinking about people who are born with what we, humans, would call birth defects.  Some of these people, literally, can not care for themselves as they get older and require outside assistance.

My question is do we CHOOSE this kind of life for ourselves?  Or, upon entry to this physical reality, do we expect perfectly working physical bodies?
When we project, we have perfect forms.  Did we expect this to be in reverse when we came here?  Or, one could ask if there are imperfect nonphysical forms?

If we choose that kind of life for ourselves, then there must be some kind of value sought by your nonphysical consciousness.
However, if these defects are unwelcome by our nonphysical consciousness, then something PHYSICAL, here on this planet, is causing these defects and they go against our chosen path plan.

I\’m curious what other people think about this.

Are birth defects caused by choice or by physical environmental factors outside our nonphysical nature?

My Solution to \”Night Terrors\”

I was in my local occult bookshop the other day and I overheard one of the customers talking to the lady behind the counter asking about how to deal with night terrors.  She continued relaying her, of what I could only believe was her son\’s, experiences to the employee which included things like seeing people standing in his bedroom upon waking.

The store worker, in true pagan fashion dealt out a few of the usual \”cures\” that one would expect… a few particular crystals in a pouch under the pillow; smudging the room with sage (in a clockwise direction, apparently is best); and also shaking out the negative energy that the bed\’s mattress has collected.

Personally speaking, as someone who has suffered from this particular thing and has learned to live with it… I think those particular suggestions are quite silly.  But, really, I would suggest them to someone if they had tried everything else first, because in the end, if it works… then it works.  Who cares how silly it is right?

Well… now I find that I\’m kicking myself because I didn\’t speak up and offer some advice to this lady and her son.  I wasn\’t about to contradict the advice given by the lady behind the counter, but I also wanted to provide an alternative solution that maybe she didn\’t or wouldn\’t have normally considered.

My suggestion would have been this… I believe that what we see upon waking are the last remnants of our time in the non-physical (in this case, Focus 2 oC).  These last remnants are bleeding through into this physical reality (Focus 1 oC) as we wake up, since while our minds are \”Here\” when we wake, there is also a small part of our consciousness still \”There\” as well.  I\’ve come to call this a \”Focus Overlay\” experience.  Now, obviously, I wouldn\’t go into this kind of detail explaining to someone else I just met in a bookstore.  hehe  I would have said that the moment her son comes awake, part of his mind is still connected to the dream world… and that can sometimes slip through into his waking vision from time to time.

I would have suggested that he started a dream journal trying to identify and work through what the subject of the \”night terrors\” are.  Get at the root of the problem and not just attack the symptoms of them with \”crystals\” or \”smudging\”. Also, learning how to have lucid dreams in an effort to confront that which is terrorizing you is another great result of keeping a dream journal.

I mean, I should also probably be doing the same with my own particular \”hypnopompic visitor\”… LoL

On a side note, while I was there, I did pick up a book called \”Astral Projection and the Nature of Reality\”, by John Magnus, referred to me highly by Personalreality of the Astral Pulse forums… so far it\’s turning out to be a VERY good read. I find that his ideas of astral projection really resonate with my own. I\’ll have to write a review for it sometime soon after I finish it.  🙂

Why You Need To Control Your Thoughts

I just started to read William Buhlman\’s book, \”Adventures Beyond The Body\”, and I wanted to share a passage in it which illustrates beautifully why one needs to learn to control their thoughts and keep a focused, goal-oriented mind, when astral projecting.

Buhlman writes:

Each experience increased my realization that my nonphysical state of consciousness was extremely sensitive and responsive to the slightest thought. My prevailing conscious and subconscious thoughts would instantly propel me in a specific direction. I quickly learned that my subconscious mind exerts much more influence and control over my actions than I ever imagined. Often, a completely spontaneous thought would create an immediate reaction. For example, if I thought about flying, which I often did, I would immediately fly through the ceiling or wall and glide over my neighborhood.

This is probably the best paragraph I\’ve ever read that shows perfectly why we need complete control.

This is what I believe to be the cause behind the experience which some people refer to as the \”Astral Wind\”.  Whereby you\’ll be in one location, then some kind of wind or supposed \”pushing\’\’ effect will happen upon you, where you\’ll end up somewhere else unknowingly.  Well, this is why.

People don\’t realize it and they try to externalize the sensation, which will cause it to appear as something external, such as a \”wind\” that uncontrollably blows you elsewhere.
